Just saw this on tv news-

"In countries where commercial departure options remain available, U.S. citizens who live in the United States should arrange for immediate return to the United States, unless they are prepared to remain abroad for an indefinite period," the State Department said in a release on Thursday. ''

Very difficult to maintain "social distance" on an aircraft.

Very difficult to maintain "social distance" on an aircraft.
But it is getting easier it appears as air travel is decreasing and more flights are flying at something much less than full capacity.
But I do agree with the concern in your post...

The US State Department needs to review our domestics airlines polices .
Especially Americans citizens flying from the following states Washington, California, Illinois, New York, Florida, Alabama, Texas, Virginia and New Jersey.
IMHO.

Domestics airlines tickets are sellng at an all times lower price .

But it doesn't cancel (refund) travel payment already made.
That must be done by a cooperating provider, and my providers ain't cooperating.

Why, given what's going on now, does the State Department have to "tell" anyone not to travel abroad?

Perhaps such proclamations are the triggers for other governmental agencies to cease their travel as well.....
