starwood offering all inclusives?

Just saw starwood is offering all inclusives in mexico and costa rica, will this apply to svo as well. Also anyone know if costa rica will be added as destination for svo?

It is hard to keep straight that there are separate agreements that cover use of weeks owned at Starwood timeshare resorts, the internal SVN trading system which uses StarOptions, the external trading system of II (and in some cases RCI) and the renting of units through SPG using money or Starpoints.

What is provided by a timeshare resort for owners at the resort by deed and recorded instruments, for SVN traders through the SVN club agreement, for II and RCI traders through contracts between management and II and RCI and for those guests renting units controlled by Starwood (by ownership or right to rent out) with SPG Starpoints or cash can and does vary.

The Costa Rica property has a hotel and 12 timeshare units. There are no known plans to add those 12 units to the Starwood SVO system and no plans to build more timeshare units in Costa Rica.

There have been reports that SPG renters at Lagunamar can rent on an all-inclusive basis. No reports yet of other types of users having access to such a benefit.

There may be all-inclusive contracts for SPG use in Mexico and Costa Rica. So far, there are no all-inclusive contracts for timeshare usage (by ownership or trading). No timeshare deed provides that any such benefit be provided. So, providing such a benefit is discretionary for the timeshare resort board.

IMO, it will never be a mandatory benefit for all timeshare owners because all owners would have to pay for the cost through annual assessments (and some who don't want the amenity and would prefer to use the kitchen in their unit would scream bloody murder).

On the other hand, if all-inclusive works well for the SPG users in Mexico or Costa Rica, the boards at SVO resorts might make provisions by contract for all-inclusive as an option and for an added per person cost. ... eom

At the top of the page, right below the TUG BBS letters there are several menu items (User CP, Posting Rules, BBS Help, etc.). The item next to the last is Quick Links. If you click on that, there's. "Your Threads" Link.

Thanks, I think I figured it out. I use Google Chrome.

Here are the Chrome options:
User CP, Posting Rules, BBS Help, Users List, Calendar, Search, New Posts, Mark Forums Read, Open Buddy List, Log Out

Here are the Internet Explorer options:
User CP, Posting Rules, BBS Help, Users List, Calendar, New Posts, Search, Quick Links, Log Out

I definitely like the quick links tab but not enough to make myself use IE.
BTW Chrome just passed IE as the world's most used browser. LINK
