What are 81,000 star options worth?

What are 81,000 star options worth?

A 1 bedroom unit in peak season at most resorts.

If you're asking in terms of $ then you haven't provided enough information.

Highest value would probably be $7k for a westin Kierland large 1br plat season.

Many would be zero. Some would be pay to get rid of (low season Harborside). Some would be worth maybe $1-2k (vistana villages, depending on season).

You can look for a chart on Google. advantagevacation.com has a chart, it's older, but it's still valid.

one word: Staroptions

The value on the resale market is inversely correlated to the MF for the unit in question. It all comes down to what your annual cost in MF is per StarOption (aka the MF/StarOption ratio).

The lower the operating cost (MF), the higher the value at resale.

Staroptions are not a currency which can be independently traded, so they have no specific value. Staroptions come from some underlying ownership (a deeded week, a Flex product, etc.) and don't exist until you get to 8 months before desired check-in date, that's when the underlying ownership automatically converts to StarOptions.

People often talk about SOs as if they were a product one can buy or sell directly, that is not the case.
