I cannot answer your direct question, but generally speaking the overwhelming majority of "exit companies" are complete scams. They come in two flavors:
- Exit your timeshare by paying us $$$$ to join our "vacation program" that has no/minimal re-occuring fees and we will take your existing timeshare as a credit towards buying into our vacation program. Here the "credit" is illusionary because the cost to join their program is so inflated.
- Pay us a huge upfront fee and we will help you exit your timeshare. Here all they do is advise you to "stop paying while we negotiate your exit". At best they make minimal effort to "negotiate your exit", because they know the timeshare will foreclose on you when you stop paying either your loan or dues. So you will exit - especially if you have a loan.
SQUARE ONE DEVELOPMENT GROUP, INC. COMPLAINTS AND LITIGATION
"Unsatisfied customers have expressed their frustration with this company, citing exorbitant fees for minimal service. While there is no current litigation surrounding Square One Development Group, Inc., the company has been misleading consumers into believing they are affiliated with the American Resort Development Association (ARDA). Square One Development Group, Inc. has contacted timeshare owners and falsely claimed to be a member of ARDA. ARDA has issued a consumer alert warning timeshare owners against using Square One Development Group, Inc., citing their continued efforts to mislead consumers into using their timeshare exit services."
"MissyBank", I doubt anyone would post some flyer from this group, but if you do find one, that could be an expensive "free" dinner and gift card.
