Spring break in Cancun?

We are thinking of going to Cancun the week of April 21-28. Will this still be Spring Break down there? We want to avoid that.

Easter is in early April in 2007 and college spring breaks will be long over by mid-April.

I've been in April several times and usually there are just a few spring breakers around, so there really shouldn't be much of a bother. Great weather too, but the sea lice season is usually in full bloom, should you be an ocean lover.

Travelling after April 15 should be safe from spring-breakers. Easter week is extremely crowded because it's a popular time for "local" vacationers as well.
