Spring 2008 NorCal TUGgers Luncheon - March/April

Hi all,
Steve and I, JanB, will be attending. Looking so forward to meeting with everyone.

I'm a definite "maybe" this time around. If I come, I'll most likely be tagging along with the barndwellers. The only if is that we're expecting out of town guests and don't have a firm arrival date for them yet. It's supposed to be sometime around the end of April.

I just found this and the April 26 is perfect for us. We live in Tracy so its also a short drive!

So close... Unfortunately I can't make it.

I found out that my daughter "volunteered" her time for her band's fund raiser this Saturday and we have to drive her to her shift. I was hoping my wife and I can meet all the wonderful Tuggers who are enjoying their timeshares. We aren't new to timeshares. We've owned HGVCs since 2000 and just brought DVC at SSR so we can buy GCV when it's available. But my wife can't see why I'm spending my time reading and thinking about timeshares/vacations in general! She knows now but for a while, she, like the general public, thought that you just call when you want and book the room you want:hysterical:

We had planned on coming today but three days ago I did something to my knee and its still twice the size and I can not walk.

Thought the icing would have helped by now but it hasn't.:annoyed:

Maybe next time and hope Tugger's have fun today!

Thanks so much for organizing this! Steve and I had a great time. I think we both learned a lot, and are very envious of the trips so many have taken. Steve did mention it was a "chatty bunch". I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Hi all, I had fun meeting everyone and discussing travel stories. Thanks for those who made to the luncheon and missed those who couldn't. I also apologize to those I couldn't talk and those whose pictures I was unable to take. Looking forward to the next one.

Sorry I missed seeing all of ya. Our house construction has run into a bit of snafu and we were busy interviewing several replacement cabinet makers today. Hope to see you at the next NorCal meeting.

I was at the opposite end of the table from you, so I didn't get a chance to speak with you, but I did speak with your friends Yvonne & Dave.
Dave told me that they havent' used a single point yet, and some will be expiring soon. I recommended to Dave that they log on and ask for help on the HGVC forum. They need some expert advice to shorten the learning curve and begin enjoying what they purchased.

Please encourage them to post. Hope to see them on TUG soon.
