If I make a reservation for 20 days but later would like it to be 2 or 3 reservation numbers can it be changed?

This is what I think is the answer: it depends. If you have a status level that would allow you to make a one day reservation at 13 months out, then Yes, you can ask the VOA to have Technical Support modify your reservation to break up, or reduce your reservation.

If you are not eligible for less than 7 day reservations at the time of the reservation, and you subsequently try to modify your reservation to something you would not have been able to do at the time of reservation (like make your 20 day into a 7, a 7 and a 6) then you won't be able to do that, because you wouldn't have been able to initially make a 6 day reservation.

do not know what would happen if you tried to make a 20 day reservation 13 months out, and then tried to drop the front of the reservation, effectively jumping the line on the latter part of the reservation.

Good luck and I hope whatever you are trying to do works out!

Best,

Greg

Thanks Greg. Yes we can make the 1 day reservations.

You know the phrase of having money in your pocket and you're itching to spend it? Well I have points in my account and I'm itching to get them settled in a reservation.

With my traditional weeks I can reserve them consecutively 7 days at a time. That system allows me to mix personal usage with possible trades and rentals.

The DC doesn't work the same way. I can't make a reservation 13 months out and then add a consecutive reservation. It needs to be one long reservation starting within released inventory. I've asked OS reps about later being able to break up the reservation but haven't gotten a clear answer. Reality is we can make plans but no one knows what their true travel will be in 12 or 13 months?
