Spinnaker French Quarter Branson Owners should be on the lookout for communication from resort!

Hopefully things will begin to move along a little faster in deeding back our ownership. At this point all I can say is I no longer have an active owner account on the Spinnaker website and we haven’t received a MF statement for this year. I’ll feel better once we can submit the paper work to transfer the deed to Lemmonjuice Solutions.
We were in Branson a couple of weeks ago. I had heard the resort was shut down. That wasn’t accurate. The resort was still open and had guests at that time.

thank you for posting this, so many owners have been anxiously awaiting the news!

Pretty sure LemonJuice managed the closeout of my timeshare at Edisto Island. Here are important Words of Advice:
  1. Make sure your maintenance fees are completely paid up. You might have to pay for another year, too.
  2. Read and respond to every communication from the resort and LemonJuice
  3. You may receive a survey asking your willingness to vote for updating the Sunset Date to this year or next year. Vote Yes
  4. You may then receive an official ballot to vote for moving the Sunset Date to this year or next year, Vote Yes.
  5. Patiently wait for that big check.
I bought my timeshare for $1500 including closing costs. I got paid $5500. This can happen to you, too.

(In cleaning up my hard drive the other day I came across some more documents regarding this. Glad to post them if there's interest.

Right now I’d be happy to just deed my week back to Lemon Juice and be done with it.

They sent this letter out, but it’s essentially asking the same basic question they asked a few months back. Do you want to deed your week back, exchange it for another similar Spinnaker week or ride it out with French Quarter Resort in the hopes you’ll get a check in excess of any future MF’s and SA’s you might have to pay. Branson doesn’t have high dollar land values, and right now the tourist economy is down. I don’t feel the need to gamble on a “big” check not knowing the necessary investment up front to receive said check. It’s safer and easier to just walk away without risk. At this point we feel we’ve received adequate vacation value for purchase. This was an inexpensive resale week and the MF’s for what we had were reasonable. I’m content to feel as if I’ve broke even on our purchase and call it a day.

Received via snail mail yesterday the exact same message as the above email. I was a little disappointed in that I was hopeful it was the paperwork to deed back our week.

Since they are working on amending a contract shared among hundreds of owners, everything has to be done exactly right, to have a strong defense if needed. IIRC it took over a year for LemonJuice to wind down my Edisto timeshare and they have experience at this. Keep the faith.

I have the same experience as doug26364. Duplicative mailing, even though I agreed back in September to deed over my unit.
Today I received a maintenance fee invoice for 2026, due January 1 (3 days from now). $570.81 for a gold float 1BR. I'm not paying.

I thought it was a rather aggressive email that included all the ways they intend to collect any past due payments

Agreed. I think they're trying to rake in as much cash as possible.
I told them in September I wanted to surrender my unit. The response was that I should have a deed sent to me by the end of October, as I recall. Like you, my online owner account has been deleted.

If you have the opportunity to pay at this time, I urge you to do it. Only PAID-UP owners will benefit when the organization dissolves.

We’re talking Branson, a regional/local travel destination that’s over built not just in timeshares, but full ownership condos. If this was a highly desirable national travel destination…….maybe. Personally they can have my deed and I’m walking.
