Hello Tuggers,

I need a recommendation for a great luxury spa in Palm Desert area. My friend and I are going to be staying at WMH (Westin Rancho Mirage) for a weekend and want to spend one day of pampering at a great spa.

A few years ago we went to the JW Marriott Desert Spa and had a great time. We liked the private pool area and lounge, but did find it was really busy with bachelorette parties etc.

Suggestions appreciated.

Any other suggestions for great meals? Especially with Groupon type discounts?

We are both mom's so prefer nice restaurants, but not over the top, pretentious, expensive...but not Chili's since we can go there with our husbands and kids.:ignore:

Any favorite Casinos nearby? Any links for sign up bonuses for free slot play?

Pretty much we are looking to relax at a spa, shop, and do a little gambling...oh, but we have to eat too :))

Was just at the Marriott spa in October during our stay at Westin Mission Hills.
I see you've been, but we couldn't think of a better one. Outstanding experience and we spent the better part of the day there, spa, pool, etc.
No parties when we went and all was quiet, peaceful , relaxed -- just as you would want it to be, but then again it was a weekday.

As a guest at WMH you can use the spa on grounds for free even without a treatment.

Several of our group enjoyed the Agua Caliente as well.
