Southwest nonstop flights ends Sept. 5 between Los Angeles and Big Island, Kaua‘i airports | Big Island Now

Southwest Airlines once again will end daily nonstop flights between Los Angeles and the airports in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island and Līhuʻe on Kaua‘i the day after Labor Day.

my BIL flew PHX to KOA last year, wonder if that will end. He is coming again in October.

Along with this .. there will likely be an impact on inter-island flights

The PHX/KOA route was eliminated sometime in 2022.
