“Southwest will expand its offerings at New York's LaGuardia Airport this fall.

On Nov. 4, the carrier will begin daily LaGuardia-New Orleans flights, competing on the route with Delta. Then on Nov. 10, Southwest will launch weekly Saturday service from LaGuardia to Orlando and Palm Beach, competing with the daily and multi-daily services from American, JetBlue and Delta.

Also on Nov. 4, Southwest will bump up the frequency on routes to Dallas, Denver and Kansas City from LaGuardia....”

Do they fly direct from nyc or newark to las vegas? I wish we had more direct flights from Stewart International which is almost right in my backyard,

Can't believe I didn't already know this, but I had no idea that Southwest was even in the market! Of course my periodic (business) trips to NY ended about 10 years ago... thank goodness! Nothing quite like a redeye am arrival on Monday, working long hours all week, with a Friday pm flight back to the west coast to wear you out.
