South Lake Tahoe is getting a Target

That's good news. Target stores typically have an okay grocery area.

63,000 square feet - that's not a lot of square footage for a Target store. I hope it has a grocery, but that may not be large enough for a deli and a bakery. It's not enough space for a Super Target.

I asked Miss Google how large a Target store is. She said:
Target's average store size is about 130,000 to 135,000 square feet.

Super Targets can be over 200,000 square feet.

It might be a "City Target," which is usually under 40,000 SF.
