South Beach Availability

I am wondering how difficult is South Beach to pull in Gold season weeks?
 
does anyone have a clue? I cannot yet access the reservation system.

I have a clue, but not an answer. Here it is...

I have found availabilty at So-Be, but the dates may not be what you want.
In some places, like Vegas or Orlando, availability may be assumed, but here,
it must be pursued.

IOW, you need to be patient, persistent, and flexible (or own there).

A couple years back, we tried to get a mid-March week (Gold season) right at the 9-month booking window. We were only able to get 6 days instead of the 7 that we wanted, but it was still a great trip.

I was able to use my RCI Points for a reservation which I made last June for 4/23-4/30/10, this is my second reservation I have made using my RCI Points at this resort.
 
Has anyone had trouble getting South Beach 2 brs for May 9 months ahead?

I just bought into South Beach (1 BD/Platinum) [waiting for the deal to close, AFAIK ROFR has passed]. Very happy to have the property. Miami Beach is a very unique place. I look forward to many vacations there. :)
