John Fogerty (formerly of CCR) was interviewed on CBS Sunday Morning today
recently (8/31). Now 80 years old, he's still touring.

Here he is backed by a symphony orchestra at the Night of the Proms in 2010.
Note: This video runs into others, so feel free to stop when ready.

It was fall of 1969, my freshman year of college. Seven or eight doors from my dorm was Steve Kendall's room. He had an album playing that was the most mind-blowing thing I had ever heard - it was Isaac Hayes "Hot Buttered Soul" album, a recording that changed the whole concept of soul music. It remains one my favorites to this day - one of my desert discs.

Here is his rework of Burt Bacharach's "Walk On By".
