Song Of The Day.

Gretta Van Fleet is on many of my playlists.

Helene Fischer is a major star in Germany. A few years ago, when I was looking for a rendition of Ave Maria I came across this unique version by her, performed in Deutsch. I have been a big fan of hers ever since. When I was in Berlin for a week last summer, I had hoped she might have a concert performance nearby, but she was performing in Bonn.

An interesting tidbit. My Dad was an RCAF officer prior to, during, and after WWII. He actually met W/C Guy Gibson (Commanding Officer of 617 "Dam Busters" Squadron) at a mess dinner while in England. Unfortunately, Gibson did not survive the war but won the VC for the raid.
