So which Worldmark resorts are going to close?

Resorts Owned
Wyndham National Harbor
I'm sure you have heard that Wyndham is closing like 20% of it's sites (20 out of approximately 100 strictly Wyndham site, not including WM owned sites with Wyndham presence, or former Shell resorts)

Anybody want to speculate on which Worldmark resorts are going to close? Lots of dead wood over on the WM side of the house too.

I believe this would take a decision by the Worldmark BOD and a Vote of the Membership. But I will have to take a look at the Founding Documents.

I thought it was only 3 properties. Do you have a list of the 20?

If I am correct I confirmed 13 using extra holidays. Those resorts showed no rooms available in 2026 while showing other resorts that do. Those 13 were on the suspected to close list. There may be more

Looks like folks have collated on Wyndham side; but would love to see similar list on WM side, for WM owners, @RENTER
TY!

The 14 units at the Valley Isle in Maui are gone. Schooner Landing in Newport Oregon is gone.

I'm not hearing anything about the other resorts closing for any other reason other than renovations.

Valley Isle on Maui the Units were under a Lease. Do not know if it was the Owner or Wyndham that decided not to renegotiate the Lease. Schooner Landing had all sorts of problems starting with major shifting of the cliff. Also Worldmark by Wyndham did not Manage the Timeshare. There were maintenance or lack thereof issues.

I wonder what's happening with the erosion at the Glen Eden resort. I saw a picture of the WM website and the erosion looks like it's getting close to the resort. We drove through the Schooner Landing resort and thought it looked dilapidated to the point of needing a complete exterior renovation.

Multiple Wyndam resorts close 12/31/2025. What are the impacts to Worldmark? Does Worldmark own units within Wyndam Resorts? Do Worldmark owners have units in Wyndham? Has the Worldmark Reservation Calendar added a notice that 2026 reservations in Wyndham properties are not available?

I doubt that closing a Wyndham has any impact on Worldmark. Worldmark is it's own resort system. I have noticed Wyndham has shuffled some of their inventory to Worldmark.

What "nice" WorldMark inventory? There was no trading involved.
Not sure if it qualifies, but didn't WM lease some South Pacific inventory to Wyndham? I think Worldmark may have also given up some inventory at Kingstown Reef (Orlando) for Presidential Reserve. Though I wouldn't necessarily consider Kingstown Reef as "nice".

There are many WM properties which have Club Wyndham unts now (which were likely xfr'd from WM to Wyndham over time) (like PineTop) etc; the staff at WM PineTop shares info for the property which lists it as Club Wyndham PineTop...
Referring to changes over time, not necessarily any trading in this quarter etc..

Sorry, completely unrelated and irrelevant to today. You are referring to a class action lawsuit from some WorldMark members who did not have a clue. As part of the Wixon settlement, the idiot members negotiated (forced) the extraction of 400 WorldMark units at "underutilized" (in 2010) WorldMark resorts, including Pinetop. Wyndham simply transferred the units into Club Wyndham Access; same sales to Wyndham and sold to Club Wyndham owners. WorldMark members would really like to book those extracted units now 15 years later without having to use Club Pass and pay the higher WorldMark credits required PLUS the exchange fee required.

I believe Kapaa Shores has a lease expiring and will notbbe renewed

A few Wyndham resorts which had WM inventory such as Patriots Place and Shawnee Village outside of club pass will no longer be available to WM owners as of 12/31. There may be some other co-branded facilities affected.

Wyndham Shawnee resorts currently have 5 of 6 villages that have voted for Bankruptcy and closing 4 of villages 12/27/2025. What is Worldmark doing about losing their inventory of units by YE 2025?
