Hi
Could you tell me why 2 different one bedrooms in the same season 9-43
would have different maintenance fees??? One is $501 and the other $713
also with the preference you get in interval is possible to trade up. What would be a better trader , owning at myrtle beach or Desert Oasis (say both prime weeks??)
thanks for your knowledge and advice
tom

Different MF's: There are two different one bedroom floorplans, one much larger than the other. The MF's are actually $501 and something like $610. The $713 number includes the SVO fee which will not be payable by the buyer (because SBP is a voluntary property and SVO rights, including StarOptions will not transfer with the purchase).

SBP vs. SDO: We own one bedroom units at each and have never seen any difference in their trading power.

In Starwood Owner Resources, at the top of the forum, under the Maintenance Fees heading, we have a list of most maintenance fees that you can use to double check the Ads.

Also - in the same sticky, under Resort Information, you can find a link to SBP, and if you click on Villas, you can see the floor plans, dimensions, etc.

Lots, and lots of Ads have incorrect info.

There are actually three types of 1BR units at SBP. We have owned all three.
