She was also involved in the fairy tale movies that I think HBO or Showtime did when my kids were young. She was almost always in them. They were pretty dark, as fairy tales generally are in books.

I have the Reader's Digest Fairy Tales, two-volume set. I read those to the kids when they were little, now my grandkids look at me like, "What's with the creepy story you are reading to me right now?"
