I received my Shell book for interval today and I think this is going to be good.

The points vary depending on Tradvel demand index.....The highest is equivalent to what we were paying in RCI. THe range goes from 3000-4500 for a 2 bedroom....Also flex change exchanges wil be 50% OFF .

I am anxious to see the kind of availability the shell will get..
 
Received my book a couple of days ago and my welcome kit today. Anxious to log in and look around but guess I will have to wait until Jan. 2.
 
That could be good for me as well. We travel off-season, so anything we can get for around $600 in MF's + exchange fee is better than Foxrun or Blue Ridge Village. I wonder if we can take advantage of XYZ with Shell.
 
I was just on the new shell/interval website and I am seeing a lot of nice exchanges for as low as 500 points.

An example is Marriott's aruba surf club studio next fall for 1500 points.

I think this is great because we like to travel off season.

There are some great bargains for last minute.

The point values required also seem to be weighted for demand.

Highest I saw was a 2 bedroom at Hono Koa for april 2013 for 4500 pts...still a pretty good deal.
