Shawnee Northslope - need some advice/reviews asap!!

Has anyone stayed here recently or is familiar with this section of Shawnee? I am trying to organize a Poconos Thanksgiving get together and this is one of the few places with any kind of availability.
However, I can't find any info - unit quality, location, etc - on this complex. Any help will be appreciated!

Camelback Ski Area in Tannersville has a Northslope townhouse section - does Shawnee have similarily named development?

Yes, Shawnee does have a Northslope section. All of the following are "I think" because I've never stayed at Northslope:

* it's set aside from the rest of Shawnee--the units are in a different area
* some of the units are condos and some are timeshares
* they don't use the indoor pools and facilities at the rec center? There was some strange deal when the rec center was built and for some reason I have it in my head that Northslope opted out of the whole project. This was years ago, though--it may not be true and it may have changed.

Check on whether they're able to use the recreation center facilities and the facilities at the Shawnee Inn. If they are, I would take it if it's the only place available. I imagine Northslope is on the level of River Village I and II, which are okay but nothing spectacular.

BTW, if you are spending Thanksgiving at Shawnee, bring all the food you will need for your Thanksgiving meal, and go prepared to cook and eat in your unit. We were out there for Thanksgiving and almost NO restaurants were open. The ones that were had been booked up for weeks. Grocery stores were locked up tighter than a drum.
