Share your strategy for getting out of presentations quickly?

I have a nephew that did timeshare in Cancun for years. I was unaware until several years ago that he was in the timeshare business, and when I put it all together I grilled him with questions for hours. Here is how to get out:

If you are not required to go, just don’t go. If the tour booker is annoying just say your flight is leaving in four hours. This will kill the pitch. If you are required to go, tell them your credit score is BAD , like sub 500. This will eliminate you from being a prospect for on house financing and tell them you don’t have the tens of thousands of dollars to pay today. There is nothing they can do.

Now in my personal experience, not being a jerk or arrogant helps a lot. I rarely go in unless I want to retro something in , or at the Hilton where I will shell out a certain amount of money for a type of deed in exchange for my high MF ocean tower. It really is not a dog and pony show, it comes down if they have the inventory or not. I won’t go if I have zero interest in buying. My time is not worth a gift card or hotel points.
