SFX deal

I called SFX this morning to see what could be done for a deposit I have that is expiring June 1. One of the offers was to purchase a three year Diamond membership for $299 that extends my deposit 18 months.

Even though my experience with SFX has been only so so with the free gold membership I think it may be better with the diamond membership if nothing other than the resort escapes.

I think I am going to have to deposit at least three weeks this year. I could go II, VI, RCI or SFX. I like VI but they are not currently staffed.

We will see !!!

I think also another option *may* be that if you're planning to deposit more weeks, typically they'll have a deposit offer that if you deposit another week, they'll extend the June expiring one by another year.

However, I personally find the Diamond membership worth it because of the free one size room upgrades (ie, I deposit a 1 BR, I can book a 2 BR at no extra cost), and the fact I can get cheaper exchange fees, and free guest certificate, and put a request in without having to deposit first.

But YMMV, LOL!
