I’m tired of renting or using the 15K points My mother has accumulated through four different contracts. I want to sell them all and get out.

I saw on red week that they are willing to do that, for around a $800 fee taken out of the buyers price. I also saw a broker using red week who was actually having a pending sale for close to two dollars a point. They told me it’s no cost to me and the buyer pays for everything including the cost for the post. Is this a good idea? Should I go directly through red week and try to just get $1.87 appoint myself? Not sure what the best thing is to do.

I am not interested in drawing up contracts myself, etc.

It sounds like you're not interested in dealing with things that a broker can eliminate for you.

In that case, having a broker help out is not a bad idea - it comes at a cost but you'd get utility out of what a broker provides.

That said, the brokers working on Redweek full service are not the only option, and it's ok to look around.

Maybe read some of these threads (and others) first.
