Can someone point me to a few reputable resale brokers? Ebay is great but you dont know who you are dealing with most of the time. Thanks.

I think the problem is reputable resale brokers charge $1500-$2000+ as a minimum commission charged after the sale. Most Wyndham resales aren't worth that much so it is cheaper for an owner to use ovations (even if they aren't eligible for 3 years of free use) rather than deal with MF for the extended time for resales to transfer with resale vs give backs with ovations.

Redweek full service brokers are probably reputable in terms of it will get done and they won't disappear but the general experience is the brokers aren't particularly helpful and they end up being a go between the seller and buyer and will add time to getting questions answered. The seller will pay about $525 in fees for the service of using the broker $125 up front and the other 400 after the sale.

So using a broker will likely add $500-$2000 or more vs what you can find on ebay for the same types of wyndham contracts.

Hi @snickers104,

Under the forum titled “Buying, Selling and Renting Timeshares” there is a post that lists frequently mentioned timeshare resale sites and agents/companies.

What I have found helpful is the link to the Licensed Timeshare Resale Brokers Association (LTRBA). These resale agencies have no upfront fees.

if you are looking for a particular system (Disney, Hyatt, etc.) you should be able to get advice in that specific timeshare system forum.

I kind of assumed since it was posted on the Wyndham forum that the question was about a broker for wyndham timeshares.

Wyndham actually has 2 featured resellers listed on their website. I used TIMESHARE BROKER ASSOCIATES to sell 4 deeds and was paid for them. Time to transfer from signing purchase agreement- start to finish was 4-5 weeks.
