Selling on eBay - Help

Hi - I'm trying to sell my timeshare and I'm considering using eBay. Not only have I never sold a timeshare before, but I never used eBay either. So I'd like to know what success you've had (or not) in using eBay to sell your timeshare. If you were successful, were you pleased with using eBay? Do you recommend using them? Has any one used an eBay Trading Assistant? Is that recommended? They charge a fee above and beyond basic eBay fees. Is it worth paying those extra fees?

I've listed and sold on eBay without any problems.

It's a function of how comfortable you are with technology and are you willing to put in a bit of effort to learn how to use eBay effectively. If yes, then go to the help section of eBay and I believe there's an extensive article in the advice section here on TUG that details pretty much all the issues you are likely to face.

If no, then go with someone or some company that will list it for you.

Note - the one trick when you want to rent is that you must be Square Trade verified which is a pain.
