both parties live in NY,do i need to use a closing company to transfer title to new owner.
I bought one of the properties on the resale market and I have all the paper
work. Can I just copy it ?

How do I file it and where?

who do you recommend to do the transfer? don't want to spend a lot of money.

thanks in advance for input.

I assume this is a deeded timeshare. If so the new deed is filed in the county where the property is located,(their fees have to be paid) and then the newly recorded deed is sent to the resort's HOA or their manager so that their records can be updated (many resorts impose a transfer fee)

Can you do it yourself?...Sure, but one party to the transaction ought to know what they are doing...Ive done it, but I dont recommend it. I use Legal Timeshare Closings

I think you still need the Florida addendum since the property is in FL. I think the rule is either party or property. If it is not included then the buyer has one year to rescind. It's simple boilerplate.

I have found that even some reputable mass sellers are excluding it for non FL properties but where buyer lives in FL. This is a mistake.
