They don't sell Weeks at the resort/offsite Sales Centers. But Marriott Resales Operations has been selling individual Weeks consistently, long before and since the DC was established. There aren't any indicators that will stop. Of course as a general rule their pricing is higher than the external resale sites.

I don't think that they still offer deals in which you can sell back your Weeks for credits toward purchasing other Weeks. The deals they do offer are all applicable to bundle packages of DC Points purchased in conjunction with these internal resale Weeks.

We went to a presentation here at Grande Vista today. They offered us a hybrid pkg. The resale we looked at was a 2 bedroom Platinum lock off at Grande Vista for $8,995. This was contingent if we purchased 1000 MVP for $12,500, which also included 50,000MRP. The agent said they almost never offer a resale with this low of points. We declined. Would have liked the resale but don't need both or the extra money and maintenance fees. This would have brought us from Executive to Presidential. Thinking I may just look on my own at a resale, even though it would not be enrolled in the DC program. Thoughts or advice?

I am not sure that the sale would have gone through. I recall reading about someone taking them up on such an offer with the requirement to purchase so few trust points and the corporate office put the kibosh on it.
