Secret Netflix Codes Are the Key to Unlocking Movies Galore

"For those us of who want to catch a flick at home on Netflix, but end up spending all our time hunting for something that strikes our fancy (rather than actually watching it) we've got a solution to cut back on your search time: Code it.

And we've got Netflix's digits.

Simply add a secret code to the end of the website URL and you'll get movies broken out by specific genre and subgenres, according to an article in "The Daily Mail."

First, type in the following URL: www.netflix.com/browse/genre/

Next, choose a code and add it to the end if the URL above.


Feel like a laugh? How about a classic comedy, code No. 31694? So, your search would look like this: www.netflix.com/browse/genre/31694

Or maybe you feel like a French film (58807), comic book and superhero flick (10118), musical (32392), crime documentary (9875), or Disney movie (67673).


How about something scary for Halloween? Options run the gamut from alien sci-fi (3327) to creature features (6895) to deep-sea horror movies (45028) to zombie horror films (75405)...."

Hmmmm, I'll need more time to play with these, but of the first several codes I tried, most failed......
For two categories it found and named the category but only one or two titles appeared.
90% of codes tried said "no titles matched".......like Rock Hudson movies, Spy movies from 80s,
Suspenseful movies starring Michael Caine, and other random selections. Maybe Netflix doesn't have those now????
It did give about 5 titles for Pierce Brosnan movies.....(my wife will like those!)
