Hello Everyone,

I know what the codes mean, but I cannot be certain if certain combinations can never be on the same building floor.
I want to book four studios; ideally, I'd like at least two to be on the same floor. (For my parents, they are getting older.)

I've heard that some buildings at SeaWorld don't have ST3 at all. I called the resort, and they were stuck on the 'we can't promise you anything' and could not get over that phrase. I know from experience that you will only ever get the unit type you booked, so if it takes two STUs to "potentially" be on the same floor, great. I also know I can't control if others booked such that this won't happen; I understand that. For example, I don't want to book 4 ST3 units to find out that each floor only has one ST3 type unit.
The front desk also stressed that I'd be lucky to get the same building. I understand that as well, of course.

I'm thinking of booking pairs of STU and STD. Thoughts? (Again, ideally, at least two have the "potential" of being on the same floor)

It seems like the information your are looking for isn't readily available to anyone here. I have had a few stays at SeaWorld and the only direct experience I have with the Studios there have been associated with a 2LK or a 3BB/3LK. I'm pretty sure that none of those Studios had a balcony which leads me to think that those were all STU's, which on the website note that they have no balcony. I have booked a couple of other Studios for some friends who were visiting during my stays, but didn't spend much time in their rooms and can't remember if those had a balcony.

To me, the Studios are not that comfortable as a stand alone for longer than a couple of nights, especially with no balcony. The ones I have stayed in have a large chair (and maybe an ottoman) that only one person can comfortably sit it and I think a small table with two chairs. For stays I had earlier this year and in 2024, I texted the Resort Text number and requested that rooms wither be in close/same buildings. This January I arrived the day before some friends came in and ended up in a 2LK in Building 2 and they were in a 3BR in Building 1. The Check in center sits between those buildings. The 2LK in Building 2 was available when I arrived and I didn't want to wait for one to open in Building 1, so that was my choice.

YMMV

I was finally able to speak to someone at the resort who easily told me everything I had been asking ten other people about ....

At SeaWorld:

STU = Only buildings 1 & 2, close to the pool and lobby - NO BALCONY ( part of the original resort ).

ST3 = Buildings 3 - 11 ... only thing to note - there are fewer.

STD = Buildings 3 -11 ... there are more of them.

So if you are booking many Studio rooms by chance and want them to at all have a chance to be close together now you have some information the help.

Thanks. Info added to Sticky.
