I've purchased a new timeshare and called RCI to add to my account. I also requested an exchange at the same time.

Why can't I use this week to search? It doesn't show under deposited weeks, only current travel weeks.

I know in the past I could still search with a deposited week, even while a search was on.

Can someone explain?

Thanks,

Anne

Do you have a link that says Modify Search? Click that and search away. Just remember to click on Keep My Original search. Since you had RCI start your Ongoing search you may have to call them to search. ALWAYS initiate your own Ongoing Search online, then you can control it and search away.

You say that you called RCI to get it added to your account but don't specifically say that you deposited this week for exchange. If you have other weeks in the system it is possible that RCI thought you wanted to use that week or weeks for the search.
Call RCI to clarify the situation.
