Searching for exchanges by amenities

Hi,

I don't post here too often but I have read through many posts, and am always impressed with how much information is here.

So, I was wondering, does anyone know of a website or app that will help me find a good exchange through interval. I find their website a bit frustrating to search. For example, I was just thinking, I would like a getaway this winter. I am in NY, and would like to drive, so I am considering New England and Mid-Atlantic. But I would like to know which of the timeshares offered through Interval have an indoor pool, offer tennis, have 2 bedroom units and are 4 or 5 stars. I know they have their gold and silver ratings, but there's no way to search by gold and silver (or is there?)

So, do you know of any apps that do this? It doesn't have to link to II's availability, just give me ideas of places to search. BTW, I've seen their iPhone app and think its a bit better than the website, but still lacking.

I am not aware of any such app or website. I find I have to do my own independent research in to properties I am interested in. Reading RUG reviews and or looking them up on TripAdvisor. There is no way that I am aware of to search in II for only Gold or Silver rated properties.
 
TUG members have access to the resort reviews in the red stripe above. It is a perk well worth the $15/yr fee. While it is not searchable in the way you describe, using those reviews, you could spot resorts within your driving range, then read the reviews on those that become available with whatever you are exhanging.

While you can't read the reviews (I strongly advocate joining TUG--best $15 ever!), you can see the resorts and their ratings.

Yes, and I have checked the list of newest reviews and have to say I am impressed at how many Tuggers have been doing reviews lately. It is very helpful to get updated info on the resorts. Thanks Guys, you know who you are!

Interval International has an Advance Search option that allows you to search by region, amenities and unit size but I would also use the various other sources for resort feedback/reviews/photos such as TUG posts, TUG Review Database, Tripadvisor, Yelp, etc

I forgot about that. For the OP, it does include an amenity option "Swimming Pool, Indoors".
 
This is great feedback. Thanks everyone. I am a TUG member so I looked there. ALthough I see the ratings, I don't seem to have access to the reviews. Will try that again.

And I never knew about the II advanced search. That is exactly what I was looking for.
