Search Does Not Grab Resorts

I have had an ongoing search for summer of 2006 in place for a year. I recently found out about a mistake that was made that drastically effected the trading power of that week. Not happy at all about this but a whole different subject. Since, I am using an additional week with more power to search for the same time frame and region.

1. I noticed the weaker trader pulls resorts the better one doesn't and visa-versa.

2. When I check my ongoing searches there will be nothing on hold. But, if I go to modify, but don't make any changes and then hit search, resorts I am looking for come up???

Have I been missing opportunities because of the weak trader? Or am I missing opportunities because I am not working with a VC? Why is my search not grabbing these weeks automatically?

Our search feature is designed to capture space that is available; however, there are instances where it may not - say, if you have released a particular resort and unit type online. In that case, the search will not match it (assuming you still do not want it); however, a direct search would still display the unit.

To have someone check your account specifically, please send a message to feedback@rci.com and enter TUG in the subject line. The Communications Team can review the search to see what might be happening. Be sure to provide a few examples of resorts that you were able to see available that didn't match your search. Also, let them know if you saw resorts that would match to one search but not the other. That may be Trading Power or even VEP (this can change enough from one deposit to the next to affect availability).
