SDO Lock-off

The current eBay price is down to about $500 based on recently closed auctions.

2012 e-bay sales for 2 bedroom SDO EY 1-52 float units:

1/8/2012 2 bd EY FL 2325
1/31/2012 2 bd EY FL 1225
2/15/2012 2 bd EY FL 1550
3/2/2012 2 bd EY FL 1050
3/4/2012 2 bd EY FL 810
3/6/2012 2 bd EY FL 1358
3/7/2012 2 bd EY FL 541
3/12/2012 2 bd EY FL 1530
3/13/2012 2 bd EY FL 500

I might have missed a few.

I would guess that units that went for $500 & $541 required reimbursement for the 2012 use year, which drove down the sales price. With usage starting in 2013, I believe the sales price would be well above the $500 range.

You are correct on the 2012/2013 usage; the unit that sold for $1,530 included "free" 2012 use.

I put the net price at $500 because it is still early enough in the year to close a sale this year and deposit the two one bedroom units into Interval for full trading power.

I bought one this morning. $975 and includes all closing and 2012 usage. Either the TS was free or one year's usage depends on how you look at it. I am happy!:cheer: A Tugger sent me a PM about seeing it. I love TUG!

Glad to be of help and I hope you enjoy your timeshare!

Thanks again,Steve. You were a wonderful help!

I now need to transition to a new II membership as we are not going to put our kids names on this one so they can choose whether or not they want to inherit it. this means they have to pay guest fees.Their names are on the Wyndham that I am going to sell.I have a late 2013 II exchange so this will be a little messy!

The unit was listed as RCI but it will trade in II also, right? SDO,actually code is SDI, is in my II resort directory.
I was thinking I might try RCI, but I was planning to use mostly II and get Starwood priority.

It will definitely trade in interval, just register it in your II account once starwood has you as owner of record. Much better trading in interval, you can find many other better deals for a RCI trader

SDO is duel affiliated with II and RCI. However, it is just an average trader in RCI, where there is no Starwood to Starwood priority. It has more value as a II trader.

Here is a discussion about SDO and RCI - http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167114
