Just got this from the SDO Board today, effective immediately. They are going to change transient guests a daily parking fee, amount tbd by management. The great thing is that net proceeds will go to the Association, of course, after all expenses incurred by implementing and operating the parking program are paid to the Managing Agent. Am I just too cynical to think there will be little/no benefit to owners?

I am heading there on an RCI exchange on 3/8, and I am assuming we won't be charged the parking fee.

Shouldn't be a fee for timeshare based stays, which includes RCI.

You should be able to see the net benefit per week by looking at your HOA budget. There should be a line in the income section related to the parking fee revenue to the HOA. Probably about $25 per unit week for a 2BR.
