10% NOT applicable in California and a couple of other states.

The 10% surcharge did apply in California the last time they had a one-day pass in the newspaper.
Bring cash or check or ATM card. They don't take credit cards, except maybe a Wal-Mart credit card.
Did you know, though, that they have to let non-members buy liquor in California? Apparently there's some provision in the liquor laws that prohibit membership arrangements or the like. I wonder if that might apply to the pharmacy too ....

My coupon (One-Day Guest Pass) specifically says:
"A 10% service fee applies to all non-member purchases when shopping with the One-Day Guest Pass (not applicable in CA, SC or Elmsford, NY)"
That's been a CA rule for quite sometime.
Yes, bring cash, NO checks and some debit cards (qualifying networks) are OK. Credit cards are Wal-Mart Credit & Discover, however, the Wal-Mart MasterCard not accepted at any SAM'S CLUB location. There is an ATM in our local store.
