Sales presentation at MFC

We listened to a very low key sales presentation yesterday. They still say they are getting ready to build the new buildings pool and park. The pools at the Reef are beautiful. Our son and his wife spent several hours over there last week. It is isn't crowded at all. We are so happy at the Cove that we prefer just to stay here. The skies were a little cloudy yesterday but are clearing now. I'm watching the Zumba class. I don't think I can make my body move like that. The decorative walls in the pool are being painted today.
 
Hi. What is the "park"? Also, where will the new buildings and pool be? Thanks.
 
The new buildings would be on the hill as you leave the office area. There is a picture of a pool and then there is an area that looks like a park that would probably have picnic tables and grills. This was from a sales person so whether they really are ready to complete the resort is not a fact carved in stone. Sales people make you think that folks are rushing in to buy the points.
 
I think the park is that they had intended to build a playground, playsets, etc. for kids up in that new area; along with the second pool and BBQ stuff.

We'll see...

I'm more excited about the new pool at the REEF than all that stuff!

By the way, are they no longer selling Deeded weeks, just points?
 
Thanks, everyone. Whatever else they build at Frenchman's sounds wonderful. Hope to get there one day soon, myself. Am thinking about next summer or spring 2013, actually. The current pool looks a bit small, but nice. Would really like to have another pool area to visit, though. Is this resort pretty easy to exchange into in the summer with Marriott preference?

As a COVE guest, you also have access to the adjacent Marriott REEF and MORNINGSTAR both of which have excellent pools you can use.
