Sale of Fairfield points

Hope someone can help with the problem I have now. The buyer of one of my properties, was told by a Fairfield salesperson, that if they buy from anyone other than the company, that the points would not count toward the gold level. Can any one shed some true light on this? Sarge

FF Rule

Resale points do not count toward VIP Status. So say's FF.
Does not mean that some folks dont get VIP status with resales points.

It seems that a lot of so called rules are disregarded with FF salespeople if they really want to make a sale.. When the "supervisor" comes in, he has some "creative" ideas that may give you some extra previoulsly unknown perks.,

However, if you are already at a VIP level, any points you add are at the VIP level you are at.
