There is only one old posting in the reviews.

Does anyone have infomation on this resort in New Orleans ?

Long ago stay

I stayed at the resort (actually just a couple homes converted to timeshares) in 1996. It had a ton of old charm, high ceilings, period furnishings and an extremely tiny bathroom. The kitchen was ancient - we avoided it. The resort has no real activities, no parking and only a small pool in the courtyard. Yet I felt very much a part of New Orleans while staying there. It is close to the French Quarter and easy to get to the trolley along the waterfront.

I didn't stay there in May 2006 (my last visit to NO) but I did go by the resort to see if it was still there. It was (pre-hurricane of course) and looked in great shape. As long as you realize you are getting little more than an apartment it should be fine. I was surprised to see it is now ranked as a Silver Crown so maybe they have done some more upgrades to those baths & kitchens. It sure needed that!
