Room location and parking, Barony.

I got points confirmation from Barony. Says parking is $25/day. Really?

I have another II reservation. Will tgat get $25/day parking fee?

What about room location in garden view. Any suggestions?

No parking fees for Timeshare based stays, which is what your two reservations are. So the parking fees won’t be applied to your stay.

I’m pretty sure all the Garden view villas are across the street in Jasmine and Gardenia (tucked behind the Westin). They all look out at a garden area with a pool and water slide so there really isn’t anything to ask for other than high or low floor.

We own the Garden view at Barony. I like to request a high floor as you are up in the tree top area. The courtyard and oceanside (not ocean front) also have tree views as the trees have grown up over the years. The beach at Barony is one of my favorite beaches, so we spend most of our time at the resort on the beach. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach from the garden view side. I have also seen them provide golf cart service to people who need assistance. The pool on the garden side is salt water, which I love as well for any pool time.

I like to be up in the trees too if there’s sunshine filtering through, not the north side of a building. That’s too gloomy for me.

Barony owner and headed there this week for Memorial Day. This is the verbiage from the 'Know Before You Go' email received over the weekend:
"Parking
RV and Trailer parking are not permitted on Barony Beach Club property.
On-site parking is $25 daily per vehicle for all rental reservations. Parking fees are included for Owner reservations and other vacation ownership package reservations."

Not sure how this would affect 'gifted' stays for friends/family.

If the reservation was made by an owner with their ownership, then the parking fee is included.

We just returned from a II exchange, and no parking fees were added.
