ROFR at Westin Riverfront Villas

Does MVC have ROFR at Westin Riverfront Villas?

I didn't see it in the ROFR database and assumed it was similar to WKV - which does not have ROFR as far as I know?

Riverfront is not Mandatory, so therein lies the difference with ROFR vs. none. I am not 100% sure if the do the ROFR but assume they wouldn't exercise it, if they had it. I wouldn't mind buying a floating ski week there, however. We own way too many weeks, so that isn't going to happen.

The only Westin timeshare resorts that have ROFR are Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas, Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North, Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas and Westin Mission Hills in Palm Desert. In addition the points products (Westin Flex and Westin Aventuras) have ROFR.

All of which is a long way of saying that there is no ROFR for Westin Riverfront Mounatin Villas.

It's not on the lists I've found on various sites of ROFR properties. Perhaps the broker is saying this to "encourage" higher offers.

Mandatory and ROFR are not mutually exclusive. There are several mandatory resorts that don't have ROFR. I beleive the only mandatory resorts with ROFR are WKORV and WKORVN.

I messaged the ROFR question to a different broker I worked with on another purchase. I will report back when he responds.

Heard back from other broker - says he's never lost a WRF unit to ROFR, but MVC does have ROFR at WRF

Probably never lost one because they are needlessly sending them to Marriott. According to this broker, there is no ROFR there.

Also Nanea. They put ROFR on any new products or properties in Vistana since Flex launched in 2015, so that snagged Nanea as well.
