Riverside Co., CA - Time to record deed?

Does anybody have any recent experience as to how long it takes Riverside County, CA (Palm Springs) to record a new deed and you receive the copy?

I bought a ShadowRidge resale and the closing company sent paperwork to them at the beginning of April.

Just trying to get an appropriate timeframe before I start to bug the closing company.

They're required to record it the day they get it. I don't know how long they have to mail you a copy.

You can start at www.countyofriverside.us Under Department select Recorder. Click on Grantor/Grantee index and plug in your name.

If you have the parcel number, you could also use the Property Information Center in the menu at the left. Supposedly you can use the address, but I don't know how you'd tell your interest from another. In any case, this page shows the date of the last recorded document.

If it doesn't show up, it's time to bug the transfer agent.
 
Thank you! I have been looking all over the place for the recorder office where my Westin Mission Hills recorded!

Unfortunately they don't have the online images and you have to pay $5.00 to get the copy sent via US mail. DOH.

Most other counties have online PDFs.

Thank you so much! I checked and it was recorded on 4/14/08. I'll bug the closing company to see if they have received it yet.

I'm always amazed at the knowledge of fellow TUGGERS. TUG is such a great community.
