Ridge Tahoe - Selling Prices?

I guess your trying to just insult but I have no idea of your point!

My point was these scam company/people talk down timeshares then get some owners to pay them to take the unit. This is there profit then they dump units for nothing but high transfer fee's. Even if they have never seen the resort doesn't change the fact they are being dishonest. They should be listing honest information on the unit and resort they are dumping.
Three years ago we were checking in and a nice lady was at the desk and broke down crying because she bought a Tower every year unit on one of these scamming e-bay deals. Turned out what they called the Tower was really one of the small resorts outside the gate. There is no way to say this is honest.

No insult intended, just reality. The eBay sellers offer a cheap timeshare option. The buyer needs to do their own due diligence. This is clearly stated in every mass ebay seller's listing. If the bueyer is not willing to perform basic due diligence, like verifying the deeded unit number with the resort, then they have no business making the purchase.

The only reason the PCC's have a business is because the resort and the HOA told the people wanting out "Tough luck, pay your bill". The PCC's offered a way out to people that didn't know any other way. Are the methods a little shady? Sure, but the resort and HOA created the monster. Your issue should be with the management of this so called "best run timeshare around".

If the units were worth anything to the resort, don't you think they would at least take them back for free? Even if they didn't care anything about the owner, they would at least care about the free valuable timeshare.

Just from your responses to me are you one of these shady people in the business of screwing timeshare owners. Seems your always taking PCC's side that its alright to be a shady dishonest person who doesn't need to give honest information to buyers on a timeshare there dumping on e-bay. Just makes me wonder when I see someone from Florida the state of timeshare scammers. When someone can come on a forum for a year and a half and have 2423 postings I wonder what is the reason. For this many post you must spend all day posting? :ponder:
All resorts are not worthless and many still sell for decent price even though much lower than few years ago and we all understand this. I have been on Tugg since 2006 trying to help others but it seems your here to just tell everyone how bad timeshares are and worthless are your words.

It all falls on the buyers to checkout the fact these people are liars and just trying to cheat them.

Far from it. I'm not the one selling a worthless timeshare at the resort for $1k-$2k. You quickly tried to hijack this thread with touts distorting the value of the resort in question. You have provided very little meaningful or relevant information to the OP who was potentially wanting to sell before the next fees are due. I did call your idea of selling at the resort a good one, although it is not the most honest method of unloading a timeshare. The idea has been discussed in other threads.

The PCC's are not preying on people who use their timeshares. They are preying on timeshare owners that have not used their timeshare in years but still pay the fees because the resort has given them no options except foreclosure. Who is more dishonest? The resort that sold them the timeshare or the PCC that successfully transferred the timeshare out of their name?

You love the Ridge and think it is worth more than the going eBay rate. That's your opinion and we get it. Move on.

First I doubt you know anything of the Resort and I do and have help many over the years and been thanked. Second I didn't sell as you like to put it "a worthless timeshare. What I sold all three buyers were staying a the Ridge and came to us about buying. Second one of the buyers already owned there and other two families were staying there.
Also the OP pm me and by e-mail I helped him with all the information he needed so he didn't need to listen to people like you that do nothing but knock timeshares.
You use terms like unloading, worthless like selling a good resort is a crime while sticking up for the low life's ripping the owners and buyers off. :wall:

You can now keep running your mouth for anyone else who might care but I am done dealing with your BS.
