Does anyone have experience renting out a unit with this company?

Seems like it might be similar to Vacation Candy?

They emailed me about renting a week I had listed on redweek. They didn't want to book through redweek, presumably to save the fees, then wouldn't share the guests info without a contract. IDK what they are about, was kind of an unusual interaction. They didn't rent it.

I can understand them not wanting to share the guest info. Their concern would be you just reaching out directly to the guest and bypassing them. That isn't unusual.

They likely have a person they want to rent it too. I am sure they want to avoid letting them know they can just rent it from you on Redweek.

I mean you might as well do the contract they are requesting. (unless they are requesting a payment from you upfront)

That seems reasonable, they would not want you to contact the renter, because they are going to charge them more then you are charging.

If you contact them directly then the buyer will know the price you are charging ect. I would do it if they are offering you what you have it listed for, or at least try too. I do not see what you would have to lose. Its good they want a contract, imo.
