OMG! I finally got my confirmation for New York in May emailed to me! I made the booking in November, and I only had to ask about eight times! This is the first time in several bookings that I finally got the written confirmations. I'm a happy camper now.

Well by the popular definition of blue moon being the second full moon in a calenday month, if it happens here it happens there. It's not like an eclipse where its localized, hey, it's just a full moon. Of course there's the little known Maine Farmer's Almanac definition which gets more complicated looking at whether there are 13 full moons in a 'tropical' year which is from one Winter Solstice to the next which would result in 4 full moons in a season (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) instead of three. The third full moon in the season with four was the Blue Moon.

Of course the concept of a blue moon metaphor is that it is a rare occurrence
(as you say - twice per calender month).

However, let us see if it is any easier for RHC members to get their Mexico vacation lined up - - - what with all the hurricanes and stuff, I am sure RHC will think up some problem for their "client members".

I almost believe RHC has become one of these "extreme" adventure companies"! (The adventure being the whole booking process they use!!!!)
