Is there any place on the Vacation Club site that will tell me how many Rewards Points I can get for my weeks?

I think you can see them before you have made a reservation for a given year when you click on "Check Availability", then your resort. We have booked all of our units for next year, and I can't see anything but the reservations at this point. I'm not sure, but I don't think there's any other functionality on the website to tell you the MR point values for your weeks. Wouldn't be surprised though if some TUGger hasn't compiled a table of such values somewhere!

Yep, TUGger GregT has compiled a spreadsheet that includes MRP-exchange values as well as DC Points. It's incomplete but you might find the info about your particular ownership. This link might work to go direct to the spreadsheet. If it doesn't, use this one to bring up his thread about it, click on the "Points Spreadsheet" link in his signature, and then click on the "Points Values" pdf file.

If it's not there you may have to call Owner Services, they'll be able to tell you no problem.

Thank you. My particular weeks are a 2 and 3 bedroom, Wk 51, Frenchman's Cove. Those weeks aren't listed, but I'm happy with the others I'm seeing there.

If you haven't reserved your 2012 week yet, go to Review or Book My Vacations under the Plan and Book My Vacation pulldown. On that page find the week you're interested in and click the Use My Week box. On the next page you should see the number of points listed in the Trade for Marriott Rewards Points section.

Thank you. It worked. The 2 bedroom is worth 125,000 and the 3 bedroom 135,000, Week 51, MFC, if anyone else needs that information.

I never noticed that the MRP-exchange info is on the website at all, so thanks tiel and piper for that. Does it only show as an option if you are actually eligible for it in that use year? For instance, (with very rare exceptions) external resale purchases aren't eligible at all unless they're enrolled in the DC, and most Weeks can only exchange for MRP on an every-other-year basis.

You should PM this information to GregT so he can update his spreadsheet.

I know it doesn't show up in the every other year scenario if you traded for points in the prior year.

Interesting to know...

It would be interesting to know how Marriott determined MRP's for the properties. I was wondering why does Ko Olina only command 85,000 MRP. As I looked at Greg T.'s spreadsheet, it occurred to me that Ko Olina owners get on one of the lowest amount of points in the system.

85,000 is for mountain view. Ocean view 2BR is 110,000, which is a very common number.
