Located along the Las Vegas "strip" you will find the Hilton Grand Vacations at the Elara. I had a room called the one bedroom Grand that is distinguished by having an 8' projection screen. Great place to watch a movie or a sporting event. I also took advantage of the whirlpool bath. I used the liquid soap in the room and it worked fine (not too many bubbles :) ).

I was in room 2930 which overlooked the Las Vegas Strip. It was conveniently located next to a shopping mall. There is no gambling in the timeshare, but if that is what you want you won't have to walk too far. You should be aware that if you visit in the winter, the pools will be closed.

Thank you for that review, the Elara 1 bedroom Grand that you mentioned seems like a nice alternative for Vegas.

Thanks for the review @Clifbell Love Elara and this room is fantastic.

FYI...I listened to the video just after yours. It is interesting to compare his costs as described as a non-owner/renter at the end of the video to yours e.g. you paid $800 all in or $114/night. This reviewer paid $167/night for Fri, Sat, Sun (not a bad rate for this room) but the killer are the additional resort fees of $28/night plus $40/night housekeeping making his room rate around $270 assuming tax is 15% or about what you paid for just 3 nights! 7 nights at this rate would be $1890! So you are effectively saving about $750 - 1000 as an owner if you adjust for mid-week lower pricing. This makes me happier as an HGVC owner knowing there is ROI on such stays. :)
