Food is always available in Grande Ocean's Marketplace Deli. They actually
have a nice menu with many sandwich items (both hot and cold), pizza, and more, with a nice patio area for seating. There are many timeshare properties where food service is not extensive, but GO is pretty good.

Only one Marriott resort I know of, Grande Vista in Orlando, which has a full-service restaurant on property.

Timeshares are not hotels, they are condos with amenities, and food is seldom part of the plan.

***Addendum: bar has never had food or a grill, but in late Spring, Summer, and early Fall the Dolphin Grill is open between the South Pool and Dolphin Pool (extensive menu)... also, bar was not open during spring break because of construction....not sure when they traditionally open the bar, but it also could have been too early in season.

Marty,

Ko Olina has two on-site full-service restaurants, Longboards and Longhi's. I believe those are the names. Longhi's just opened up and replaced Chucks Steak House, and is operated by a restaurantor who has other locations in Hawaii. I believe Longboards is operated by Marriott. I know Longboards serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Although the food isn't the greatest you can't beat the view and ambience eating there. We always manage to eat there at least a few times when we go to Ko Olina. Its a beautiful resort, just like Grand Ocean.

Chris

There used to be a Longboards at Maui Ocean Club, but it's now a 'Ka'anapali Grille And Tap Room'.

Marriott's Kaua'i Beach Club has Duke's

Some timeshares have adjacent full-service hotels which have restaurants (Desert Springs Villas I, Desert Springs Villas II, Canyon Villas, Aruba Ocean Club, Aruba Surf Club, St. Kitts Beach Club, Frenchman's Cove)

NCV food

Last I checked ;) , the main pool has a bar, with food!! Imagine? We much prefer our own drinks and such, but just to add this one to the list.

These International MVC resorts either have
their own restaurant on property - Club Son Antem (which also has access to the adjacent restaurants at the BeLive (ex Marriott) hotel and the separately run Finca restaurant), Marbella Beach Resort, Playa Andaluza, Ile de France, Mai Khao Beach Resort
or adjacent full-service hotels which have restaurants, Phuket Beach Club (with JW Marriott)

Crystal Shores has a full service restaurant also (Stilts). Pretty good when we ate there.

Duke's is actually in Marriott's Kauai Resort hotel on the same property, although the effect is the same as if it were in KBC. There is also a full service Italian restaurant on the same hotel property.

As do the Palms and Lake Shore in Orlando

I wouldn't say that the Palms have onsite restaurants. There are restaurants at the World Center, but not sure that there are any at any of the three Palms. There is a small marketplace at Royal. I believe Lakeshore Reserve may serve some food items at the bar. Though they have a better marketplace than most. There are restaurants at the JW and Ritz Carlton next door, but I wouldn't count those as onsite for the timeshare.

True. I was throwing in on bazzap's post about adjacent hotels with restaraunts. But if I can walk to eat and drink at adjacent hotel I consider it as good as onsite. Especially if I can charge to my room.

The pool bar at Canyon Villas offers food, but it's pretty bad. You'd get a better meal by hopping in the car and driving to a nearby restaurant. Even a fast food place would be better.

I've never walked it, but I think it would be quite a hike to the "adjacent" JW Marriott, though they do have a shuttle.

From my own experience, the pool bars at Harbour Lake, Newport Coast and Frenchman's Cove all serve food for lunch and dinner. Certainly not steaks and lobster but nevertheless, salads, burgers, sandwiches etc.... That suits us just fine for those occasions when you do not want to leave the property or go upstairs to the room to make something..........
