restaurant by Orlando airport? last bothersome question -

Our last night is in the Holiday Inn by the airport.
Is there a good restaurant nearby? THANKS!
 
lots of chain restaurants on semoran blvd,
you're not too far from anything though, florida mall area is close, so is orange ave.
 
Personally, I like the Chili's on Semoran that is almost at the airport entrance/exit, but there are plenty of others nearby.... Well, Tony Roma's is also good.

In the Lee Vista Center there is a Tony Romas and Friday's acrss the street. There are also restaurants in the Marriott, Hoiday Inn and Renaissance Hotels.
 
We like the California Pizza Kitchen at the Florida Mall. We don't have this choice at home.

Also the M&M store at the Mall is fun.
 
We actually had a pretty good Italian meal in the Orlando airport, when traffic crossed us up and we got to the airport way too early for our flight.

Ah, here it is. Romano's Macaroni Italian Grill. Not world class, but surprisingly good and reasonable for airport food.

Romano's Macaroni Italian Grill is a decent chain restaurant . A social group to which I belong dines at one at a nearby Mall from time to time. Strangely, the only one in Orlando is at the airport. See http://www.macaronigrill.com/Home/Default.aspx

Sadly, no. So far, our 2009 plans seem to be to just take the granddaughter to Disneyland (CA, within driving distance) and probably remodel the kitchen :eek:

For Seafood, try Straub's Fine Seafood

Excellent! There is another location in Altamount Springs, but haven't been to that one...

Happy to see that one recommended. It's a favorite of ours and if you get there early you'll get early bird prices on very generous portions of excellently prepared seafood!
