has anyone heard of this outfit??? Cancel your timeshare? Their online ad keeps popping up in my online game?? How do they get rid of your timeshare??? One complaint on BBB stated they gave them $9,500 in fees, with no results. How can they be in business 6 years??

They will take your money. If the resort takes it back from them, they probably would have taken it back from you if you asked. They probably even have a few happy wyndham customers that could have been out for $0 but didn't know or believe that so are happy to be out for $2000-4000. 6 years ago it might have been easier to get resorts to accept deed backs of worthless weeks. On the other hand there are some that do now that didn't then.

Don't do business with them.

There are a number of exit companies that have been put out of business by "the law." Castle Law is one. VO Group is another. There are others who have myriad complaints on the internet. Then, there are a few who somehow have A or A+ ratings with BBB and who have kept the internet complaints to a few. How do they do it? I don't know.

As has been pointed out on Tug numerous times - there is no simple way to "CANCEL" a legal contract regarding a timeshare obligation. How would these guys do it? I guess you would have to call and get an answer. (good luck with that). I DO know that I envy the owners of Resort Release. I do not have the available funds to saunter down to Ft. Lauderdale and buy their recent purchase.

How do they get rid of your timeshare?

There are various ways. Some are legit. Most are not or are unethical and illegal. Some methods include the Viking Ship:

negotiating with the resort to take your deed back which is something an owner can do himself:

the unwitting foreclosure, or the Power of Attorney which is employed by many Post Card companies.

I just received a wonderful education on this kind of scam, thank you all so much!!!!!!
