Madge, I was looking for the listing of one of my resorts in the online directory this morning, and it is not correct. I understand the name was changed to reflect our affiliation with a new developer, but hat wasn't the only thing changed.

Old Name - #325, Tropical Breeze Resort
New Name Escapes! tO Tropical Beach Resort at Panama City Beach

Only ID #, no names

I check my "vacation plan" this morning. For some reason, the resort name is not there anymore, only left with the 4 digits resort ID #. Then I try to print my confirmation, it was not available. Why is that?

Mel,

The ID number and name should be correct when they display. However, resort information was not appearing in many sessions as a result of a transition to a new server. These problems should be pretty much ironed out now.

It's still in the Directory as Tropical Beach, not Tropical Breeze. I'm able to find it if I search by resort ID, but not if I search by the correct name.

There was a change in the resort name, when Escapes! became affiliated, but when that change was made whoever did it mistyped BREEZE as BEACH.

It's listed as

Escapes! to Tropical Beach Resort at Panama City Beach

I understand the other issues people are having with the directory & searches in general, but even if those are fixed this will still be incorrect.

Madge, I have been consistantly having the problem (id # display w/o the resort being listed), but now there is a new problem that prevents me from even searching on line.

Now, every time I "select" my resort to search, I get an error message that reads, "Relation number might have been modified or not exsisted". Since I can not select the resort, I can not search on-line.

PLease, what the heck is going on here???? The website is horrible lately.

magiroux -

your problem should be easy to solve - there are two clickable links when you go to select your resort. The one on the right gives you this error - the one on the left should work fine - you will note the URL is different for the 2 links, and RCI should disable the link that no longer works.

In the future, please start your own thread when you have a question. When you add an unrelated question to someone else's thread, you increase the chance that neither will be answered. Madge tries to answer from the bottom up, so you effectively move that thread to the bottom of the list. Once it has a certain amount of activity, it looks like it has become a discussion instead of a question for Madge to address, and she may miss it altogether.

magiroux,

Mel's workaround is correct; however, the problem should now be fixed with the link on the right. Let me know if you continue to see this.

Mel,

Resort ID 0325 is appearing correctly now in our system. It appears to have been updated just a few days after you made your post. Thanks for keeping a watchful eye!
